WATCH: Italian foodie reacts to Erwan Heussaff's 'Filipino spaghetti' video

We all know Filipinos love their spaghetti on the sweeter side

Last year, Nigel Ng, known online as Uncle Roger, trended on social media after criticizing a BBC Food show for presenting an improper way of cooking rice. What flipped him the most was when chef Hersha Petal put the cooked rice on a colander, to which he said, "How can you drain rice with a colander, it's not pasta."

While that "crimes against rice" video has gained many online laughs and taught many Western people how Asians cook their rice, did it ever come to your mind what they think about how we cook European food? Now, we're in trouble.

The tables have turned this time as Italian food enthusiast and comedian Vincenzo Prosperi reacts to Erwan Heussaff's Filipino style spaghetti, a staple in every kid's party and, well, other adult celebrations. Yes, that red, hotdog-filled, sweet spaghetti that breaks many Italian pasta rules is now under the scrutiny of an Italian pasta expert and surprisingly, he's not against it, apart from the hotdog.

"I have to say this pasta doesn't look bad at all," Vincenzo says. "The only thing that you need to do is take off that hotdog... There is nothing wrong to say. I was really scared to watch this video but I'm glad I watched it."
