VIRAL: This pizza's latest ad made Twitter users feel attacked

Have you seen Greenwich's ''Di mahal, tulad mo' commercial?

From time to time, we sat down in front of our television or with our devices and encountered a few commercials and unwanted ads. Some became instant hits with great humor and a catchy jingle, others thug the heartstrings with a dramatic plot you can't help but relate to. In the case of Greenwich's new ad, it left some laughing while the others, well, let's say it reopened old wounds.

The local pizza brand's campaign started off with a boy and a girlâ€”looks like the start of a love story. Then the boy picks up a guitar and sings his heart out to the girlâ€”see, totally romantic. Just as when the girl is feeling all the feels, the name Brando is blurted out, shattering the vibe and taking down the "cis-tem."

Nothing feels worse than being led on. Adding more pain to the wound is that "'Di mahal, tulad mo" in-your-face statement. For many, watching the commercial is a reality check they didn't need and took it to Twitter to express what they feel. Here are some of the best responses.

While it is all fun and petty heartbreaks for some, others didn't see it in the same light saying that it uses the gay character's narrative as a punchline.
