26 DOJ prosecutors appointed, promoted

The Office of the President has approved the appointments and promotions of 26 prosecutors at the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra said he received the list on Friday, April 30.

Newly appointed prosecutors include Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Prosecutor Rommel C. Cudal, City Prosecutor Benjamin S. Vermug Jr. for Paranaque City, and City Prosecutor Xerxes E. Cortel for Cabanatuan City.

Six prosecutors were promoted to the posts of senior assistant state prosecutors at the DOJ main offices on Padre Faura Street in Ermita, Manila.

They are Senior Assistant State Prosecutors Philipp L. Dela Cruz, Wendell P. Bendoval, Jeanette M. Dacpano, Robert D. Ong Jr., Josyli A. Tabajonda, and Josie Christina T. Dugay.

The other appointees who will be assigned to various offices of the DOJ’s National Prosecution Service (NPD) nationwide are:
