Chances are, you’ve been lusting after the Lego Porsche 911 Turbo (Type 901) since it first broke the news. The elusive 911 classic is still admired by Porschephiles and car enthusiasts alike, responsible for the iconic 911 look that we all know today, as well as matching the performance of front- or mid-engined V8 sports cars with just a turbo flat six engine.

Those that want a piece of automotive history and art in Lego form need not look far. The Lego Creator Expert Porsche 911 will be available at the official Lego Certified Store (LCS) website, www.bankeebricks.ph. Ban Kee Trading Inc. is the official distributor of Lego in the Philippines.

“Ban Kee has been the official distributor of Lego in the Philippines since 2019 and we’ve seen how fans truly enjoy and cherish their experiences building with Lego sets,” said Eric Bautista, CEO of Ban Kee Trading, Inc. “With the recent addition of Lego Certified Storesunder Ban Kee’s portfolio, we’re excited to initiate programs that will bridge the connection between the brand and more Filipino fans such as launching the official online store.”

Those that order from the website can avail of free nationwide shipping for a limited time for orders with exclusive LCS items labelled “D2C”. Orders within Metro Manila can be expected within three to five days while provincial orders will arrive within seven days.

To further enhance Lego fans’ shopping experience, Lego will be launching a membership program in partnership with leading loyalty program provider ZAP. Starting March 1, fans can start earning points for every PHP 100 spent depending on the member’s tier: Silver, Gold, or Platinum.

Customers can sign up for the membership program in any LCS branch through the ZAP app set up in the store’s tablet.  All members will start at Silver with a chance to instantly upgrade to Gold by paying P500 and earning an additional 50 points by filling out a customer information sheet.

Newly minted members can flex their pre-ordering perks with a 100% down payment within 24 to 96 hours depending on the membership tier when the Lego Creator Expert Porsche 911 drops on March 20 for P7,999.75.

While members and non-members alike can reserve items from any LCS branch, higher tier members will get longer reservation periods of up to 96 hours. Gold and Premium members also get an exclusive discount of 5% and 10%, respectively, on the first week that a new LCS exclusive item is released. Needless to say, Platinum members enjoy the most benefits including free delivery of reserved and pre-ordered items.

If the newly released Porsche set isn’t up your alley, the LCS website carries all the items sold in LCS branches and offers a wide range of choices. Fans who missed out on snatching a set of the nostalgic Sesame Street Lego set designed by Filipino filmmaker Ivan Guerrero have the chance to get it for themselves now that stocks have been replenished. The LCS website also offers the Lego Technic McLaren Senna GTR.

More information about the membership program will be available in their official Facebook page.
