And she makes it look so easy

With today's pandemic climate, food business operations are met with new challenges, from abiding to safety standards to maintaining the food quality and experience. Even though we are now in a much more relaxed community quarantine, letting their guard down is not a risk restaurant owners would want to take. That is why extra hard work and extra precautions are needed these days to keep a food business alive. 

In a series of Instagram posts and stories, actress Judy Ann Santos gives us a peek of what work looks like in restaurant Angrydobo. Since the start of the restaurant's Sunday Market Online Live Selling, the executive chef and her team has been busy in the kitchen, whipping up orders for their dedicated customers to enjoy at home. 

"'Yung nagsabay yung antok at gutom, pero mas nangingibabaw 'yung gutom habang hindi maitago yung kaligayahan mo, kasi naitawid mo lahat ng items na kailangan idispatch on time (When you feel tired and hungry at the same time, but you really feeling hungry while trying to hide the joy you feel because you've completed all the items you need to dispatch on time)," Judy Ann describes photos of her eating after working in the kitchen.

Just like other humble "carinderia" cooks, Judy Ann started her work as early as 4 a.m., preparing and cooking customer-favorite dishes such as Kalderobo, Lugaw with Tokwa't Dobo, Yin Yang Champorado, and Chocnut Sansrival. In her stories, the actress is seen tiptoeing as she stirs large pots. She even gushes about feeling the "kilig" when the staff call her chef. 

Judy Ann partnered with fellow actor Dingdong Dantes in bringing the food to the customers' doorstep with his Dingdong delivery service.

"Thank you to everyone who bought slots for our Sunday Market Live items! My heart is so full and grateful," she says. "Maraming maraming salamat po! To the whole team of Angrydobo, thank you, thank you! I wouldn't be able to do everything without all of you."
