K-pop group Verivery member recovers from COVID-19 in US; to return to Korea
A member of K-pop boy band Verivery has fully recovered from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the US and is set to fly back to South Korea.
“Youngseung of Verivery has fully recovered from COVID-19, and after being assessed as being unable to further spread the virus by the CDC , he has come out of self-isolation as of December 27th, 2021 (28th in Korea),” said Jellyfish Entertainment.

The agency added that “we will do our best to ensure a safe return home for Yongseung, and adhere to the 10-day self-isolation protocol as put forth by the Ministry of Health and Welfare following his re-entry into Korea.”
“Currently all other members of Verivery aside from Yongseung are adhering to self-isolation protocols after testing negative since their return, and have continued to maintain their health without any particular issues,” the agency said.
The Korean government requires all incoming travelers to undergo 10-day isolation upon entry.
It added, “We apologize once again for causing you concern and inconvenience, and we will do our best to ensure to uphold our artists health and safety as our topmost priority and to actively follow all guidelines as placed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.”
Yongseung tested positive for COVID-19 in Ohio while the group was in the US for their first ever tour.
The agency earlier announced that Yongseung was confirmed to have COVID-19 on Dec. 17 in the US and “was immediately separated from other members and staff, and has started self-isolation in compliance with the regulations of local council and the State of Ohio. He has no other symptoms than a light headache.
“Other Verivery members and all staff participating in 2021 Verivery 1st Tour in US were tested negative and show no symptoms of infection such as fever, cough, etc.,” the agency added.
As a result, all the remaining shows of Verivery in Cleveland, Ohio; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and New York City, New York were cancelled.
Verivery finished their shows in Los Angeles last Dec. 5 followed by Tempe, Arizona; Dallas and Houston in Texas; St. Louis, Missouri; and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Jellyfish Entertainment said in a previous announcement that all Verivery members got fully vaccinated in November.
