2,011 PDLs at Leyte Regional Prison vaccinated

A total of 2,011 of 2,153 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Leyte Regional Prison (LRP) has been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In a statement, LRP said that as of Dec. 8 only 142 PDLs remained unvaccinated.

Of those vaccinated, a total of 1,902 had been fully vaccinated while 109 had received their first dose.

LRP records show that the facility started its COVID vaccination program last Sept. 21.

Bureau of Corrections’ (BuCor) records showed that as of Dec. 3, vaccinated PDLs at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City were 22,095; Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City, 3,300; the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF) in Occidental Mindoro, 2,271; San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) in Zamboanga City, 1,716; Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) in Davao del Norte, 6,122; and the Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) in Palawan, 1,705.
