A week after hitting the 500,000 mark in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines administered, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) announced that it reached another milestone as they have now inoculated over 600,000 individuals against the disease.

PRC said that as of Saturday, Nov. 27, they have already vaccinated a total of 601,737 individuals in an effort to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.

It had announced that it hit the 5000,00 mark by inoculating 532,604 individuals on Nov. 18, through 25 Bakuna Centers, 17 Bakuna Buses, and the deployment of 20 vaccination teams to local government units.

"Vaccines save lives, get vaccinated now to win our war against COVID-19," said PRC Chairman and CEO Senator Dick Gordon, who again reminded the public that vaccines are safe and effective in preventing the spread of the virus.
