LOOK: Lola Nena's launches first drive-thru store

Famous for its delectable merienda offerings, Lola Nena’s has been a go-to brand for Filipinos in search of delicious fixes for their comfort food cravings. And who can blame them? From its soft pichi-pichi and dream-like cheese doughnuts to savory eats like toasted siopao and pancit, the brand has perfected its recipes, producing food that are truly addictive and, well, fell like they’re made with grandma’s warm love.

As its fame continues to grow, the local bakeshop is also making things easier for patrons to grab hold of its products by opening more branches and the launch of its first drive-thru store. Opened last Nov. 24, 2021, its newest location Madison Square, Alabang-Zapote Road in Las Piñas City caters to both walk-in and drive-thru customers. The drive-thru store can accommodate customers daily, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and offers Lola Nena’s complete menu.

Since the onset of the pandemic, food brands and restaurants have been thinking of new ways to conveniently and safely serve their customers. Apart from adopting e-commerce and delivery operations, some of the innovations they took are creating food trailer stores, biker-friendly spots, and providing a drive-thru option in their stores.
