New 'Spider-man: No Way Home ' trailer drops

A new official trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man film ‘No Way Home’ was released November 17th.

In it, more details were revealed about the latest installment of MCU’s Spider-Man saga that stars Tom Holland as the webslinger. “No Way Home” will also feature Benedict Cumberbatch as the sorcerer supreme, Doctor Strange.

Recall that in the 2019 film “Far From Home,” Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man was revealed to the world by Mysterio (played by Jake Gylenhaal).

The upcoming movie picks up from the world of complications that unwanted revelation brought on to Peter Parker’s life.

Enter Doctor Strange, who in the trailer was seen to be approached by Peter Parker with the hopes that the good Doctor will have something up his sleeve (like a Time stone?) to remedy the situation.

But an ominous dialogue from Doctor Strange that goes “When you botched that spell where you wanted the world to forget that Peter Parker was Spider-Man?..” suggests that whatever it was that Peter did, or Doctor Strange for that matter, seeing as he’s the only one capable of doing so, did not go quite as intended.

Anyway, the appearance of past Spider-Man movie villains in the new trailer such as Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro, Sandman and The Green Goblin suggests that what Doctor Strange and Peter Parker did definitely had something to do with mucking up the multiverse.

“No Way Home” stars Holland, Cumberbatch, Zendaya (Mary Jane Watson), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), J.K. Simmons (J.Jonah Jameson), Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus), Willem Dafoe (voice of Green Goblin), Jamie Foxx (Electro), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Thomas Haden Church (Sandman) and is directed by Jon Watts.

The film is produced by Marvel Studios, Columbia Pictures and Pascal Pictures. The movie is set for a December 17, 2021 theatrical date.
