Four Blacklist players named in MPL S8 Team of the Season


Blacklist International continued to flex its dominance as four of its players made it to the MPL Philippines Season 8 Team of the Season.

Finals MVP Salic “Hadji” Imam was named the No. 1 player in the Roam position while Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna claimed the top spot in the Mid Lane. Kiel “Oheb” Soriano and Edward “Edward” Dapadap were named the best player in the Gold Lane and EXP Lane respectively. Onic Philippines’ Kairi Rayosdelsol took the best jungler of the season to complete the squad.

Hadji who was also named as the Regular Season MVP bested Omega Esports Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog and Ian “Beemo” Sergio for the spot following an impressive first season on the tank role with averages of 5.98 assists per game and 4.33 KDA.

OhmyV33nus claimed her rightful throne as the "Queen” led the league in assists total with 443 assists for an 8.86 assists per game average and 5.05 KDA. The other half of the V33wise tandem beat Onic PH’s Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy and Omega’s Partrick “E2max” Caidic.

Oheb, meanwhile, led the league in KDA with 5.56 KDA en route to a top finish in the Gold Lane spot. Onic PH’s Marky “Markyyy” Capacio and Omega’s Duane “Kelra” Pillas finished second and third respectively.

Edward came out on top in the EXP lane beating Onic PH’s Gerald “Dlarskie” Trinchera and Nexplay Evos’ Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase for the spot.

Kairi, on the other hand, edged out Blacklist’s Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario for the top jungler citation. Wise came in second while Omega rising rookie Christian “Raizen” Sumagui placed third. Kairi also topped the league in kill totals and kills average with 198 total kills for an average of 4.40 per game.

MPL Philippines selected the players from the Top 4 teams in the season and the ones who performed well throughout the duration of Season 8.
