Starbucks now has plant-based options in its menu

Here's to a greener and healthier 2021

Not only the pandemic brought out a new awareness among us with regards to hygiene, it also influenced many on the way they eat. Who can blame them? Apart from frequent hand washing and wearing of face masks and shields, good nutrition is one of the best ways to arm yourself against the coronavirus. That's why, among the food trends we saw last year is the rise of plant-based eats.

Joining in the green initiative is beloved cafÃ© Starbucks as it starts the year by including delicious plant-based treats on its menu. Fans and avid diners of the coffee shop can now enjoy its BBQ mochi bun, an airy, soft, mochi stuffed with sweet plant-based Asian BBQ filling. Its plant-based mince roll is crisp and flaky, made more delightful with vegan ground patty, plant-based cheese sauce, and Italian spices. Rounding up its vegan menu is its classic lasagna, which is made of layers of plant-based Bolognese and cheese, sandwiched in between al dente noodles.

For a limited time only, these plant-based treats are now available for dine-in, take-out, drive-thru, and delivery via GrabFood.
