It's a pretty common scenario for many Filipino youth to have a job while still finishing their studies. And everyone has unique tales to tell about their working student life. Privileged or not, moon lighting or a regular staff, the reasons to become a young worker then ranges from having financial support to proving to themselves that they are ready to face the world.

Today, that era serves as an inspiration for them to remind themselves of how far they've come and the things they've achieved along their journey.

That couldn't be more true for Ronnie Liang. The singer shared a throwback photo of him as a service crew of fast food giant McDonald's, one of the many jobs he took when he was still in college, which inspired many netizens.

"I was a working student. I was working in the morning til afternoon and studying in the evening to support my studies," he posted. "I had five other jobs that time."

A true hustler, young Ronnie used to work in a video shop, sold herbal and facial products, modeled during the weekends, and delivered water to houses. Years have gone by, he became a singer and even a spokesperson for the Department of Education. Now, he is a second lieutenant in the Philippine Army and studying to become a pilot.

"Work hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and know that you can do anything you put your mind to," the Ngiti singer said. "If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive."

Ronnie truly is such an inspiration!
