LOOK: Humble Cavite resto serves genuine Italian dishes made by this cook

Say buongiorno to Italian cook Jean Mario Tosin

Among the most recognizable cuisine in the world, Italian cooking is an art and has been the source of comfort for many diners all over the world. In the Philippines, there's a bounty of food establishments where Filipinos can get their Italian fix, from pizza to pasta dishes. Now if you're looking for an authentic gastronomic experience, this local restaurant whips all those delicious flavors thanks to its Italian cook.

Mario & Asia Italian Restaurant

Owned by Jean Mario Tosin, Mario & Asia Italian Restaurant is a humble food spot in General Trias, Cavite. The Italian restaurant has been garnering much attention, not just because of its food, but also because of its dedicated leader.

According to his wife Dona Legaspi, Tosin has been in the country since November 2018. In September last year, he established his restaurant near a car wash, which operated via pick-up and delivery at first due to the pandemic. Now they welcome diners in their place where people could see the Italian cook in action.

Together with his staff, Tosin ensures that every food that comes out of the kitchen is made from scratch and remains true to Italian standards.

So, if you happen to drive along the area, make sure to say buongiorno to the Italian in Cavite and have a taste of his cooking.
