Get yourself a warm bowl of soup from this food truck inspired by 'Emily in Paris'

Pares, anyone?

Darren Star’s Emily in Paris on Netflix is among the shows we enjoyed streaming last 2020. Emily Cooper’s time in the City of Lights sparked many inspiration from fashion, food, and culture, with some Filipinos taking a witty approach to jump on the bandwagon.

Among them is Don Carlos and Kimi Castillo, who named their food business Emily In Pares. What started out as a food stall that went viral on social media, Emily In Pares now has a food truck, serving warm bowls of beef mami, lugaw, papaitan, and, of course, beef pares, with prices ranging from P25 to P40.

Located at Metro Towne Center Mall in Las Piñas, the '70s-inspired food truck is pretty hard to miss, especially when all its pick neon lights are lit up—a true Emily Cooper touch.

We don't know about you, but with this chilly weather, we definitely need a serving of warm soup from this chic food truck for our Netflix binge-watch session.
