While Baguio is known for its cool weather, beautiful horizons, and, of course, the festive Panagbenga, it is also recognized for its great produce and delicious delicacies such as the ube halaya, strawberry jam, and raisin bread. Another treat that kept tourists coming back is the classic strawberry shortcake. And if you're craving for a slice of it, the best place to visit is Vizco's Restaurant and Cake Shop.
Currently, Vizco's can be spotted at the Session Rd., SM Baguio, and Ayala Techno Hub Camp John Hay in the City of Pines. While heading up north is worth it just to try the confectionery goodness of its cakes, it seems like in the future, getting a box of strawberry shortcakes will be a mall trip away.
Netizen Allen Sison Valenzuela shared a snap on Facebook of a soon-to-open Vizco's store at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. Upon checking, it seems pretty legit as Vizco's announced on its Facebook page that it will be launching not one but two stores in Manila. One in SM Megamall and the other in SM North EDSA Annex.
While we are all excited about this sweet news, there is still information yet about its opening date or the products that are going to be available in the stores.
