A 50-year-old Chinese was killed and more than P500 million worth of shabu was confiscated by the joint forces of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG), and the Bulacan provincial police office in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Santol, Balagtas, Bulacan on Sunday, August 1.
Police identified the slain suspect as Wu Zishen, of Warehouse No.3, Grand SG Summit Development Corp. His cohort identified as alias Chen Hongli eluded arrest.
The authorities seized 75 pieces of Green tea bags containing white crystalline substance suspected to be "shabu" weighing more or less 75 kilograms and with an estimated market value of P510 million.
Also recovered from the suspect were one unit of cellphone labeled Honehua; one unit of Nokia cellphone, two identification cards; one P1,000 bill with serial number HT086707 on top of the boodle money used in the buy-bust operation, and one Colt Cal 45 pistol. (Freddie C. Velez)
