50 DPPF inmates get COVID vaccinations

Fifty persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) in Davao del Norte were fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) last Tuesday, July 27.

In a statement, DPPF said the facility’s vaccination program is part of the government’s “Resbakuna Kasangga ang Bida” campaign.

It said the vaccination of the elderly inmates was done by the DPPF Hospital in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH) Region XI and Braulio E. Dujali Municipal Health Office.

Aside from the DPPF, the San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) in Zamboanga City also had 82 PDLs completed their vaccination against COVID-19 last July 1. Eight personnel had also received their vaccine shots.
