Duterte names BARMM regional prosecutor, 29 others for DOJ's offices nationwide

President Duterte has appointed a new regional prosecutor for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra, on Tuesday night, July 13, said appointed as new BARMM regional prosecutor was Rohairah Ampuan Lao who took over the post of retired Regional Prosecutor Rammy L. Guling.

Guevarra said the President has also appointed 29 other prosecutors for the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) main offices in Manila and in its various prosecutors’ offices nationwide.

Jennifer A. Balboa Cahig was named city prosecutor of Baybay City in Leyte.

The other prosecutors appointed were: Aseron-Casimiro, Kathleen S. - Prosecutor II, Quezon City; Robledo, Roderick Perez - Prosecutor III, Quezon City; Sio, Nathaniel Eric Uy - Prosecutor II, Quezon City; Viernes-Agra, Margee Flor C. - Prosecutor II, Quezon City; Ilao, Julan Castillo - Prosecutor III, Quezon City; Ferrer-Legaspi, Jan Adrienne B. - Prosecutor II, Quezon City; Lopez, Felomina Apostol - Prosecutor III, Quezon City;
