This gives new meaning to the term self-promotion.

Ryan Reynolds posted the best reaction video yet. The actor just posted a video of Deadpool previewing an upcoming movie titled “Free Guy” that stars, wait for it, Ryan Reynolds as the main character.

And if you thought it couldn’t get weirder than that, Deadpool had Korg from “Thor: Ragnarok” as his “guest reactor” as they ran through the trailer together.

Incidentally, Korg, played by director Taika Waititi is also part of the “Free Guy” movie as the de facto big boss baddie.

Deadpool fans would be familiar with Reynolds’ self-mocking as he did this before in previous Deadpool movies. It doesn’t get old though, because Ryan as Deadpool’s mouth is hilarious as ever.

We could actually watch a movie-length “Maximum Reactions” video from the ‘Merc with a mouth’ because that’s how funny and sarcastic Ryan-as-Deadpool can get. But the best moment in the reaction video goes to Korg (Waititi) who, when asked by Deadpool how to get into Marvel, goes off into a have-a-dream-chase-it speech. “Just sabotage all sorts of happiness in the pursuit of that dream. Climb up to the peaks of that mountain and when you get to the top, land at the bottom and realize, you’re never going to achieve that dream, and at that point, check your emails. Maybe you’ll get something from your agent saying: Marvel wants to talk.”

For those aching to see Deadpool make the jump to MCU, that could be a hint that something might be brewing for Deadpool and Marvel in the near future.

“Free Guy” opens on cinemas on August 13 and stars Reynolds, Waititi, Jodie Comer, Lil Rey Howery, Stranger Things’ Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Camille kostek and is directed by Night At The Museum and Stranger Things’ Shawn Levy.
