Analysts and economists have been predicting and monitoring, since last year, the different phases pertaining to economic recovery. It is imperative for business organizations to identify solutions where no one is left behind as the world jumps back to economic recovery.
“How can organizations evolve and emerge to become more resilient in a post-COVID world?” asked Azurin who gave pointers on mission-critical applications and mission-critical infrastructure such as ENSURING ALWAYS ON SERVICE FOR ALWAYS ON CUSTOMERS; ENSURING FLEXIBLE CAPACITY FOR UNPREDICTABLE WORKLOAD DEMANDS; and ENSURING TECHNICAL EXPERTISE ARE ALWAYS WITHIN REACH.
“The pandemic has forced us to digitally transform overnight. Most enterprises were not able to immediately adapt and not only because of the absence of their IT platform but also the lack of expertise needed to navigate to the migration and transformation process,” Azurin explained why some industries failed to immediately bounce back from the pandemic.
In most cases, stop-gaps solutions were implemented but all to the expense of multiple risks such as cybersecurity vulnerability and operational efficiency.
“This afternoon, we’ve shared how mission-critical applications necessitate mission-critical infrastructure, such as our globally certified VITRO data centers. We’ve also shown how businesses can foresee the unseen, prevent the unwanted, and predict the unknown to our proactive monitoring and manage infrastructure offerings powered by our ePLDT operations center, as well as our field support services. These aim to give you back time and focus for your core business while leaving the complexities of uptime and IT to us. Moreover, the importance of changing with the changing times, and especially the evolving needs and behavior of our customers and employees was given emphasis and solutions highlighted include salesforce customer-relationship management systems, an ePLDT’s compact center as a service to engage with the customers in a more seamless manner,” said PLDT Enterprise VP & Head of ICT Business Nico Alcoseba.
Before closing, Alcoseba thanked all the guests and speakers for sharing their insights and business strategy solutions. Alcoseba’s confident that Tech Tech ON AIR: The Revolution has provided the inspiration and energy for businesses to rethink and reimagine operations and engagement with customers and employees, as all dive into the next new normal.
