This statement of action star Robin Padilla didn't sit well with many.
Among those who had a violent reaction is vlogger Rendon Labador, who vocally expressed his two cents.
"Lahat naman tayo nag kakamali pero yung parang prino-promote mo pa na okay lang at normal lang yan, yun ang hindi tama," said the Filipino motivational speaker-entrepreneur.
"Kung ako sasampalin ko si Aljur. Sasabihin ko na 'oo, nagkamali ako kaya huwag mong gayahin,'" he added. "Mali na nga gagaya ka pa! T*nga ka ba."
Note that in the said interview, Robin confirmed that his daughter Kylie and Aljur have called it quits.

He admitted it was painful for him to see the couple part ways, but he cannot do anything about it.
The seasoned star pointed out that the issue could only be settled between Kylie and Aljur.
In terms of alleged infidelity as the reason for the split, Robin said he has nothing against it, relating it’s natural for men to cheat if there’s temptation around.
Anyway, other netizens also shared their opinion.
"Dapat ang sabihin mo kay Aljur, 'I’ve been there, I was once a womaniser and I understand where you’re coming from. But this thing is just temporary, don’t destroy your family, go back to your wife and fix it. Be the man that your child will be proud of, don’t be another me,'" one wrote.
Another echoed that Robin should have advised Aljur what he learned from his mistake, how to overcome that weakness, and what changed him to stay in a marriage.
There are also some who noted how "what goes around comes around."
"That's what you get when you cheat, the Karma will backfire on your daughter/s. So to those men who cheat to their wives, think carefully because you will not suffer the consequences of your actions, your children will."
Others reiterated that Robin is not just "hypocrite" about the issue.

Another online user pointed out that based on the "whole interview," Robin is not "justifying" the cheater's action but more of he's just "hands-off" with his kid's marital woes.
