IBP's new president assumes post

Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)

Lawyer Burt M. Estrada is the new president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), the official organization of lawyers in the country.

Estrada, former president of the IBP’s Bukidnon chapter, assumed the post last July 1. He took over the helm from then President Domingo Egon Q. Cayosa whose two-year term ended last June 30.

He is a datu of the Bukidnon Tagoloan tribe and son of retired trial court Judge Benjamin P. Estrada.

He finished his philosophy degree at the Ateneo de Cagayan and took up law at the Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City.
