Guevarra mulls Interpol help to locate 'drug lord' Peter Lim

Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra said on Monday, June 28, the Department of Justice (DOJ) may tap the help of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) in locating suspected drug lord Peter Go Lim.
“I think it is about time,” Guevarra said as he pointed out that Lim has been elusive from law enforcement which has been hunting him down.
“Aside from intensifying efforts on the part of our intelligence and law enforcement agents to track down Peter Go Lim, we may also request the Interpol to assist if there are indeed indications that this fugitive has slipped out of our country,” he said.
Local Government Secretary Eduardo M. Ano said that Lim may have already left the country since he is still nowhere to be found.
Lim has been charged before the Makati City regional trial court (RTC) which has issued arrest and hold departure orders against him.
In 2018, the DOJ even offered a P500,000 reward for anyone who could give information that would lead to Lim’s arrest.
