Farmers’ Produce at SM Aura

A joint initiative of SM Supermalls, the Department of Agriculture, Kadiwa, and Resto.PH, the now-annual Farmers’ Produce moves to SM Aura this weekend, running for two consecutive weekends (and returning mid-July). If you missed it at The Podium, you better find time to head to Bonifacio Global City and find out why this little food fair/weekend market is the sweetest roadshow in town!

Wonderfully curated, it’s the freshest of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and condiments at bargain farm-gate prices; mixed with food stalls that offer artisanal food choices and new, exciting food concepts. That this is all put into a packaged three-day run makes it an event not to be missed.

For the SM Aura weekends, Farmers’ Produce will be held at the SMX on Level 3, to ensure it won’t be affected by any inclement weather. The following are some of the food purveyors who have shown up to make your visit worth your while:

Oh My Greek and Zig

OMG & Zig Salads
These are the new food concepts from the same group that brought Koomi to the Philippines. OMG is Oh My Greek, while Zig are Poke bowls and salads that truly hit the spot. These are pop-ups for the two brands before they rollout as free standing outletsget ahead of the curve and sample their offerings.

Maxwell Tomato

Maxwell Tomato
This is one of my favorites since last year, as it’s cherry tomatoes mixed with olive and truffle oil, or candied balsamic, all carefully bottled and made ready for spreading over crostini, scrambled eggs, or as a pasta topping.

Tataho Boy
Taho updated and made to include local flavors and winning combos. Check this one out!

Vikings Ready to Eat
This is your favorite buffet resto concept repackaged so it’s frozen or bottled take home goodies; from dim sum, to sauces and condiments.

Moloko

Moloko Handcrafted Cookies
Not just cookies, Moloko is about cakes as well and for those with a sweet tooth, this is your corner of heaven at Farmers’ Produce.

Sebastian’s Ice Cream
Again, it’s ice cream brought to the next level, as it incorporates local flavors and medleys of said flavors. Worth checking out.

Fresh vegetables at Farmers’ Produce

Beyond these stalls, you’ll find the ones that represent the farmers and Agriculture. Stagira Farms, Jamla Corporation, the Lupang Arenda Duck Raising Association, just some of the interesting stalls I found at Farmers Produce. It’s really something for everyone, and I headed home with fresh broccoli and carrots.

It’s on for two consecutive weekends, and I’m sure you’ll be happy you dropped by!
