New recipe and fresh new look to underscore market leader position
Coca-Cola Philippines is strengthening its leadership in the sparkling beverage category with the unveiling of a new recipe and new look for Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Consumers will now be able to enjoy the refreshing and uplifting drink that is ever closer to the iconic Coca-Cola Original Taste, but with zero sugar and zero calories.
“As a total beverage company, Coca-Cola listens to what our consumers need, and creates products that cater to their preferences. We know that more Filipinos want to enjoy the classic Coke drink but with zero calories and sugar—and the new and improved Coca-Cola Zero Sugar is our response to that demand. People may even ask themselves if this is the ‘Best Coke Ever?’ before they even get to try it,” says Cesar Gangoso, marketing director for Coca-Cola East Region (Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia).
The launch of the new Coca-Cola Zero Sugar is supported by a global campaign called ‘Best Coke Ever?’ designed to encourage consumers to try the new zero sugar product and spark debate with a simple question: “What if the new Coke Zero Sugar is the best Coke ever?” The campaign explores this debate across TV and digital films, out-of-home assets and calls on influencers and consumers alike to join the discussion.
Coca-Cola Zero Sugar is also leading the roll-out of the new design system for the Coca-Cola trademark, which brings all variants of Coca-Cola™ together—removing elements such as the red disc and elevating the iconic trademarks of the brand with global consistency. The packaging update is an evolution of Coca-Cola's ‘One Brand’ strategy originally launched in 2016. The new packaging design makes the products easily distinguishable and brings to the forefront the transparent nutrition information of each product. This aims to help consumers choose the Coca-Cola product that best suits their taste and lifestyle.
