Six more Pisay scholars get admission offers from prestigious universities abroad


The Philippine Science High School (PSHS) System announced Monday, May 31, that six more PIsay students have received admission offers from the top and prestigious universities abroad.

The PSHS said of this, three students are members of Class 2021 of the PSHS- Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, General Santos) Region Campus (SRC) in Koronadal City.

The PSHS congratulated Daniella Joan T. Francisco for receiving admission offers from United States’ Hawaii Pacific University for BS Computer Science with Provost Scholarship Grant; New York Institute of Technology in US for BS Computer Science Big Data Management and Analytics Concentration with Academic Achievement Award; and Jacobs University Bremen in Germany for BS Computer Science as Merit-Based Scholarship Grantee.

Rendon Jann S. Orong, also from PSHS-SRC, also got an admission offer with scholarship grant to take up Bachelor in Psychology (Honours’ Program), Medical Sciences Major in Anatomy and Physiology in Macquarie University in Australia, the PSHS said.

The PSHS also extended felicitations to Alexandria E. Tan for receiving various admission offers with scholarship grants from universities in Canada: University of Toronto Mississauga for Life Sciences Program with Entrance Award of Distinction; University of Toronto Scarborough, with Admission Scholarship Grant; University of British Columbia Canada) for Bachelor of Science and University of Toronto Scarborough as Admission Scholarship Grantee.

The PSHS cited that three other Pisay students, who belong to Class 2021 of the PSHS- Western Visayas Campus (WVC) in Jaro, Iloilo City, got admission offers from top universities abroad.

Ewemiz C. Insigne got an admission offer with scholarship grants in Bentley University in the US, the PSHS said.

It said Amos Nathan B. Tuangco also received admission offers with scholarship grant from universities in Canada: University of British Columbia for Bachelor of Applied Science; and University of Calgary for Bachelor of Science in Engineering with President’s Admission Scholarship.

The PSHS also extended felicitations to Maxinne Dominique Louise L. Co for receiving an admission offer to take up Mathematical, Computational and Statistical Sciences Minor in Economics in the Yale-National University of Singapore.

With this, the number of PSHS students who got offers of admission from various universities in Asia, America, Australia and Europe stood at 60.
