54 Pisay scholars receive admission from prestigious universities abroad

Over 50 scholars from the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) have so far received admission offers from leading and prestigious universities abroad.

Since May 23, the PSHS has been announcing the names of its scholars who got offers of admission from various universities in Asia, America, and Europe. Based on its series of Facebook posts, a total of 54 scholars have been offered to study abroad amid the challenges brought about by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The PSHS announced on Saturday, May 29, that 34 Pisay scholars got admission offers from universities in Canada, United States, Australia, Japan, Germany, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Of this, 29 come from the PSHS-Main Campus in Diliman, Quezon City, while five hail from PSHS-Caraga Region Campus (CRC).

Among the members of Class 2021 of the PSHS-MC who received admission offers from prestigious universities abroad are Chen Adrien Z. Thor, Zairah G. Taloma, Ardy Emmanuel P. Tagle,Danielle Aira E. Savellano, Poch R. Santos, Guillermo Andres C. Refina,Vicente Cornelio P. Pascua, Trixcy Joyce Y. Nepomuceno, Rico Daniel M. Mercado,Altheoxander M. Marual, Dona Beatrix B. Marabe,Maxine Camille O. Mallari,Janine Phoebe P. Liwanag, Alexis Sabina M. Libay,Juanito Alecz S. Laurenio, Christina Andrea P. Ibarra,John Rex A. Gaviola, Vicente Iñigo O. Garcia, Alex Nathaniel B. Gagalac, Beatriz Gianina A. Franco, Elmira Maria Isabel O. Decena, Ayn Nicolo Arbus A. de Leon,Kaeran Edlix F. De Guzman, Caleb Johann F. Candelaria, Andrea Marie H. Cabrera,Raizen Angelo A. Banzon, Bethena Clarisse M. Balanon, Josef Emil A. Artiaga, and Shannon Mark Danielle R. Aguimbag.

The five students from PSHS-CRC which got admission offers with scholarship grants are Kyla Anne P. Estorba, Daveigh Kate C. Abogado, Apphia Kezia R. Trillo, Danielle R. Ajoc, and Elrey M. Ybasco.

On Friday, May 28, the PSHS bared that James Albert Yumol, a member of Class 2021 - Eunoia of the Philippine Science High School - Central Luzon Campus (PSHS-CLC) in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, and Julius Jose O. Bercasio, a member of Class 2021 - Kahidlaw of the Philippine Science High School - Bicol Region Campus (PSHS-BRC) in Goa, Camarines Sur, likewise got admission offers.
