Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao was among the richest boxers of 2021 in an annual ranker list by The Richest.

The Richest has placed Pacquiao in the third spot, trailing former Olympian and world champion George Foreman and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

According to the list's excerpt, Pacquiao is also the sixth richest boxer in the world with a net worth of about $220 million (approximately P10.582 billion).

Pacquiao's fortune is a no-brainer given the pocket money he had gained through the years, not to mention as the only eight-division world boxing champion in history.

He is also the founder of Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), a semi-professional league in the Philippines.

Mayweather, a five-division world boxing champion, has a net worth of $450 million while Foreman, a two-time world heavyweight titleholder, owns a net worth of $300 million.

Completing the list, from the fourth spot, are Oscar De La Hoya, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard, Vitali Klitschko, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Anthony Mundine.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao is on the road to his much-awaited comeback as several reports disclosed that the Filipino boxer-turned-senator is set to take on American welterweight contender Mikey Garcia in Dubai later this year.

Pacquiao, 42, has not fought since scoring a split decision win over Keith Thurman in July 2019 to improve up at 62-7-2 record on top of 39 knockouts while Garcia last saw action in February last year with a unanimous decision victory against Pacquiao’s former foe in Jessie Vargas to climb at 40-1 slate with 30 KOs.
