After launching its Taste of Korea meal set, fast food giant McDonald’s dives deeper into Korean pop culture with the latest partnership with boy band BTS.
“The band has great memories with McDonald’s,” says Big Hit Music, entertainment management of BTS. “We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world.”
The special menu puts a twist on McDonald’s diner favorites. It features a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium World Famous Fries, medium Coca-Cola, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea. This one-of-a-kind menu “tour” will arrive in the Philippines on June 18, 2021.
“No matter who you are, everyone has a go-to order at McDonald’s—even international superstars like BTS,” said Oliver Rabatan, McDonald’s Philippines marketing and channels head. “This band is truly a global phenomenon with a fanbase that knows no borders, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the BTS Meal to our customers in the Philippines starting June.”
