WTFu (What the FU) by MR. FU: Celebs on canvass

The Republic Art has been active in the art industry for quite some time now.  It has well selected artworks of master artists and young painters. Politicians, businessmen and celebrities are their usual clients.  (paki-sabi ibili rin ako!)

“Our team is composed of young collectors. Then later on we realized, why not put up a small gallery and help the artists," Art Associate Stephen San Luis says. (may budget ang mga friends ha!)

The Gallery’s first featured artworks were from its partners’ personal collections. “When we decided to put up Republic Art, we didn’t have pieces for sale.

They started with utilizing social media for posting their artworks for sale.

“Nakatulong yun for marketing and sa mga inquiries.

Since the team members have their respective jobs, interested clients need to book for an appointment to view the art pieces.  (gusto ko rin ng booking!)

“Nagwowork naman yung by appointment set up naming for now. Laban!)

They are set to launch “Celebs on Canvas” an on-line exhibit of artworks by celebrities who are into painting.  (shumushowbiz!)

Pero since we met some collectors from the entertainment industry, we discovered that some of our celebrities are also artists na may mga interesting na mga nagawa. “  Stephen explains. (di lang uma-arte o ma-arte, may pa-arte pa!)

My very own, The Art of FU, will be one of the first featured pieces in the on-line exhibit.  (ayan, naisingit yung akin!

This time we want to highlight his creativity sa ganito namang medium, kasi known sya sa atin as TV and radio personality,” Stephen says. (grabe yung salitang known ha!)

Celebs on Canvas will premiere via The Republic Art Facebook Page next month. (may red carpet daw! makapag-gown nga!)
