CodeChum Advanced with Teacher Smart Assistance Feature Launched

As students and teachers try homeschooling to work out during this pandemic, the need for better educational resources is continuously rising. With this demand, specifically within the IT education sector, the developers of CodeChum introduces an upgrade to its AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS) with a focus on monitoring and teacher smart assistance.

CodeChum is an LMS (Learning Management System) focusing on programming education to complement the instructor’s teaching style through self-learning. Ultimately, CodeChum will make the teacher’s workload a lot lighter and make learning how to program more exciting to students with its built-in content (programming courses and problems database).

“CodeChum Advanced is a major enhancement to the existing CodeChum version. With a focus on monitoring and teacher smart assistance, the system can provide a precise and unbiased analysis based on the performance data of your students,” according to Jemar Jude Maranga, Chief Executive Officer of CodeChum.

With the new features, teachers can now have the ability to see the performance of their students in each of the test cases for a specific problem (presented as an activity or quiz in the LMS). The LMS can now give teachers an idea of which topics they need to discuss further with homeschooling students during synchronous sessions -- eliminating the guesswork for instructors while they prepare their lesson plans.

With the help of Cody, the LMS’s virtual assistant, teachers will be presented with suggestions based on the performance of students on any activity. Cody may suggest what possible activities can be done next by the teacher for the entire class or even to a group of students based on given parameters.

In addition to C, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Python programming languages, CodeChum now also supports the Assembly Language.
