Julia Barretto reveals her plans to settle down

Now that she's 24, Julia Barretto has announced her plans to settle down two years from now.

Julia made the revelation during an interview with celebrity photographer BJ Pascual who asked her about her future plans.

“As an actress, ang dami ko pang gustong gawin na stories, ang dami ko pang gustong gawing movies, to take on different roles, especially that I’m getting older, mas nagiging mature na ‘yung mga roles na I’m allowed to do and that I’m willing to do,” Julia started.

“Aside from that, Beej, ako kasi, simple lang talaga ang gusto ko sa life. I just wanna have a family. ‘Yun lang talaga. So I feel like at 24, mag-wowork na ako sobra. Tapos at 25, work din sobra. Para 26 and above, pwede na akong mag-start ng family ko,” she revealed.

"So ‘yun, to answer your question, now that I’m 24, I think I just really wanna hustle now, hustle next year, and then figure out from there how to start a family,” she reiterated.

“I think because we're both close to our families, our siblings, and our parents. I feel like it has an influence on the things na we want. Like I have such a good family, like I have such a great mom, great siblings, close-tight relationships. My mom is my best-est friend. So parang I'm looking forward to has my own like that," she related, when BJ mentioned Ivana Alawi having the same plans.

“Sa totoo lang, I love being an actress and I’m so blessed that I get to do what I’m super passionate about, but I just really wanna have a family, ‘di ba? ‘Yun lang. Simple lang ang gusto ko.”

Asked to whom she likes to start a family with, Julia immediately answered: “With my partner.”

Just a few days ago, Julia confirmed her  relationship with Gerald Anderson.

This is not the first time that Julia opened up about her plans of starting a family at a young age. Prior, she revealed wanting to have a bunch of babies.

In the same interview, Julia also talked about the things she went through, particularly the part where she’s being “crucified” by critics for her choices.
