19 more DOJ prosecutors named by President Duterte

President Duterte has appointed 19 more prosecutors for the national prosecution service of the Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra announced on Thursday, March 4.

Among those appointed were Dasmarinas City Prosecutor Joy Marie Frances Cabato Cortes, Pagadian City Prosecutor Domingo Santiago Macalam Briones, and Iligan City Prosecutor Celso Morandarte Sarsaba.

The Office of the President released last Monday, March 1, the appointments of 20 prosecutors for the DOJ’s prosecution offices nationwide.

The other newly appointed prosecutors are: Uy, Ma. Lourdes Cortez, prosecutor III, Office of the Secretary of Justice Prosecution Staff (OSJPS); Genova-De Guzman, Carmi Rose M., prosecutor II, Cavite; Angway-Dait, Cohleen Dianne S., prosecutor I, Tarlac; Herrera-Sanchez, Pamela Joy T., prosecutor I, Catanduanes;

Bongalos, Jose Brillantes, prosecutor I, Isabela City; Banzuela, Analyn Flores, prosecutor I, Biñan City; Roque, John Sherr Sacatani, prosecutor II, Isabela; Martinez, Clarinda Balungcongan, prosecutor III, San Jose City; Balanquit-Granado, Cherry L., prosecutor I, Dasmariñas City; Calo, Ludmilia Lineses, prosecutor II, OSJPS;
