Globe myBusiness joins the Filipino-Chinese business communities in celebrating Chinese New Year through the Modern Tao Ke Campaign. The Modern Tao Ke Campaign (Tao Ke means Boss) aims to help the Tao Kes reinvent their success through the adoption of digital tools and solutions.

When businesses took a spin in 2020 because of the pandemic, many business owners have folded up while others have tried to keep up with the challenges they’re facing. Without good business solutions and digital tools to run their business, it would be difficult for any business owners to cope with the ‘new normal’.

To start the new year on the right foot, Globe myBusiness, in partnership with CHinoyTV, mounted events that will encourage Fil-Chi business owners to ramp up their businesses. The first event called Modern Tao Ke Exclusive: Taking the Lead in 2021 aimed to help entrepreneurs create roadmaps for digital transformation as they build their business better. The event featured top Chinoy CEOs such as Dr. Cecilio Pedro (Lamoiyan Corp), Johnlu Koa (The French Baker), Myrna Yao (Richprime Global Inc.), Enrico Dee (Foodee Global Concepts), Francis Glenn Yu (Seaoil Philippines), Royce Gerik Chua (Eng Bee Tin), Michelle Tiu Lim Chan (Mega Global Corporation), Kathleen Dy-Go (Universal Records) and Michelle Lim Gankee (Sterling Group of Companies) who shared their business tips on how their business thrived with technology with select Globe myBusiness loyal customers through  one-on-one mentoring sessions. 

For the Tao Kes who are firm on keeping up their businesses amid the pandemic, a Feng Shui Tips For your Business  by Kevin Foong was streamed on Globe myBusiness'  Facebook page  which gave them ideas on how to invite more success to their business this Year of the Ox. Foong, an award-winning Feng Shui consultant from Singapore, gave his 2021 outlook and tips for a more prosperous business.

To welcome the auspicious Year of the Ox, Globe myBusiness is co-sponsoring the Chinese New Year Countdown in Lucky Chinatown Mall on February 11 which will be streamed on Globe myBusiness’ FB page starting at 11pm.

For people who don’t have time to go all the way to Chinatown to get their favorite Chinese food to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Modern Tao Ke Food Fair, in partnership with Ayala Malls and GCash, features merchants/Tao Kes from the Fil-Chi Ho Tsia group to showcase their products for the hungry visitors. They can visit Ayala Malls Greenbelt from February 8 to 14, Ayala Malls Circuit, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Ayala Malls Cloverleaf from February 12 to 14.
