K-pop superstars BTS have added more records to the achievements set by their first all-English single “Dynamite.”

Data provided by Spotify to Bulletin Entertainment showed that BTS’ ‘Dynamite” recorded over 12.6 million streams on release date on Aug. 21, the biggest first-day streams globally on Spotify in 2020 to date.

On the same day, “Dynamite” landed at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 charts, making BTS the first K-pop artist to top the chart, according to Spotify.

The Spotify records are in addition to the YouTube records set by “Dynamite” music video upon its release.

YouTube earlier told Bulletin Entertainment that BTS’ “Dynamite” set a new all-time record for the biggest music video Premiere with total viewers of over 3 million peak concurrents, or the total number of viewers who watched the video at the same time.

After which YouTube announced that “Dynamite” music video garnered 101.1 million hits in its debut on Aug. 21 to become the new No. 1 most viewed music video in the first 24 hours of release.

This made BTS the first artist to garner 100 million views in the first 24 hours of release of a music video.

“Dynamite” overtook BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That’ music video, which had 86.3 million views in the first 24 hours upon release on June 26.
