“He was shot from the back of the right ear and  exited on the upper left portion of head,” NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin revealed on Wednesday, Dec. 23, about the NBI’s findings on the autopsy conducted on the victim.

Last Monday, Dec. 21, the NBI confirmed that the body found in Capas, Tarlac last Oct. 30 was that of Pizarro following the conduct of DNA testing.

Pizarro’s family had sought the NBI’s help in finding the victim since he was reported missing on Oct. 23, 2020.

Lavin also said members of the NBI’s Special Task Force (NBI-STF) left on Wednesday, Dec. 23, for San Simon, Pampanga where Pizarro’s vehicle, a Honda Accord, was found.

“Alam ko umalis kanina (They left today),” the NBI spokesman said.

“Agents with forensic chemists will do another round of forensic investigation on the car,” he explained.

Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra earlier this week revealed that the NBI identified four persons of interest in the killing of Pizarro.

“The NBI is focusing on four persons of interest,” said Guevarra.

“One of them is willing to divulge what he knows,” he added.

Pizarro was last seen alive in a casino in Clark, Pampanga last October 23.

The victim was also able to speak to one of his sons at around noon the same day.
