Get to know Filipina beauty Reins Mika on her Elite Model Look journey

Elite Model Look is once again on the lookout for the world's next supermodel. And one of the luckiest models currently vying for a chance in winning a global management contract with Elite is Filipina-Chinese looker Reins Mika.

The global competition that has produced world-renown models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Gisele Bündchen, Cindy Crawford, Fernanda Tavares, and Helena Christensen is back for its 37th year, giving young models the opportunity to be put on its much-coveted spotlight.

The 21-year-old Mika is competing under the Digital Creators category. “I’m super excited to announce that I’ve been chosen to represent the Philippines as a finalist in the 2020 Elite Model Look World Final Competition to compete for a top contract with the Elite World Group,” shared the model on her Instagram post. “I can’t wait to show the world my passion for modeling, writing, and the arts!”

Currently being represented by Philippine Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), Mika has appeared on campaigns for Human, Rustan’s, Bench, Dove, 0917 Lifestyle, and a couple of editorial works for magazines.

On Elite Model Look's site, the young model revealed bits and pieces of herself like how she adores her mom’s vintage dress that’s been passed on to her. She also voiced out some of her thoughts for the future sharing, “My biggest hope for the future is for young women to never underestimate themselves. No matter how big or small the challenge can be it doesn’t determine what’s possible for you. It’s definitely important to always remind ourselves to be bigger than our fears because we are capable of anything if we put our hearts and minds towards it.”
