Malacañang oks appointments of Makati City prosecutor, 36 DOJ prosecutors

Malacañang has approved the appointments of a new Makati City Prosecutor and 36 other prosecutors at the Department of Justice (DOJ).

DOJ Sec. Menardo Guevarra said he has received from the Palace on Wednesday, Dec. 9, the names of the 37 newly appointed prosecutors.

This includes the appointment of Dindo Gotanco Venturanza as Makati City Prosecutor.

Venturanza replaced retired Makati City Prosecutor and former Prosecutor General Jorge Catalan Jr.

The secretary noted that the 36 other newly appointed prosecutors have been assigned to different posts of the DOJ’s National Prosecution Service (NPS) nationwide.

Just last October, Malacanang approved the appointments and promotions of 64 prosecutors including Deputy State Prosecutor Olivia Torrevillas from senior assistant state prosecutor.

Those appointed this month are:

2) Ajes-Laurente, Lilibeth C. - Prosecutor I, Puerto Princesa City

3) Baban-Subang, Fritzie E. - Prosecutor II, Puerto Princesa City

4) Quicho, Jhaciel Juanico - Prosecutor II, Puerto Princesa City

5) Adriosula, Dino Mendiola - Prosecutor II, Gapan City

6) Navarrete-Angulo, Leila V. - Prosecutor III, Mabalacat City

7) Aquino, Rodrigo Flores Jr. - Prosecutor I, Gapan City

8) Crisostomo, Eric Arevalo - Prosecutor III, Meycuayan City

9) Paulino-Gogolin, Edna C. - Prosecutor II, Bulacan

10) Galang, Marianette Aquino – Prosecutor I, Cabanatuan City
