Kim Chiu was among seven local celebrities who made it to Forbes Asia's inaugural 100 Digital Stars list, thanks to her viral "classroom law" analogy.
On the official website of Forbes Asia, the 30-year-old star was recognized for turning a viral video gaffe during a live stream in May as basis for "The Classroom Song," a live performance of which has now over 9 million views on YouTube.

Recall that despite the bashing she received from critics, Kim was able to turn her “Classroom Law” analogy into a blessing.
A few months ago, the actress donated 1,500 food packages to the families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as 300,000 cash for mass testing recently.
These were from sales of merchandise inspired by her “Bawal Lumabas” song.
And to think it all started with this confusing statement:
“Sa classroom may batas, bawal lumabas, oh bawal lumabas. Pero ‘pag sinabi, ‘pag nag-comply ka na bawal na lumabas pero may ginawa ka sa pinagbabawal nila, inayos mo ‘yong law ng classroom niyo at sinumbit mo ulit ay pwede na pala ikaw lumabas.”
Kim expressed disbelief over her latest achievement.
"I am just thankful for everything God has been giving me. My faith has been tested this year but I never gave up on trusting his will, ALL IN HIS GLORY! ALL FOR YOU FATHER GOD," she wrote.
Other local artists mentioned in the list were Angel Locsin, Marian Rivera-Dantes, Anne Curtis, Kathryn Bernardo, Vice Ganda, and Sarah Geronimo.
They were recognized along with the likes of South Korean stars Bae Suzy, Park Shin-hye, IU, Lee Min-ho, Thai actor Mario Maurer, and Hollywood stars Margot Robbie and Chris Hemsworth, to name a few.
