These easy holiday mixes are sure to bring out the good ol' jolly 'spirit'

Cheers to creating happy memories this season!

The holiday season is not just for the family, but also for the extended family. It's always been a part of the local holiday culture for Filipinos to have friends, colleagues, even neighbors in their home during this festive season. And we all know that having a simple get together or reunion is best celebrated with special drinks on the side. So, if you're looking for quick, easy, and fuss-free concoctions, you might want to give these mixes a try.

Fred Noe, master distiller of liquor brand Jim Beam, gives a few tricks to elevate your holiday drinks using the brand's limited-edition tin packs.

“My family has been bringing people together with our bourbon for generations, so now is the perfect time to raise a glass to our extended family—the fans who have been enjoying Jim Beam with us along the way,” he said.

The tin pack is an ideal starter kit to make the pleasantly refreshing Jim Beam Highball. It is so easy to do that it is just composed of three simple ingredients: Jim Beam bourbon, ice, and lemon. The smooth, sweet flavor of the classic bourbon is enhanced by the sharp and clean zing of the citrus.

A festive spin on the iconic drink is the Apple Cinnamon Jim Beam Highball. Aside from lemon juice, it’s made with muddled red apples for tartness and sweetened with cinnamon syrup before adding the Jim Beam bourbon into the mix.

If you’re feeling a bit creative, why not do a customizable Frozen Fruit Jim Beam Highball. This variation replaces the ice cubes with six to eight frozen pieces of your favorite fruits. The best part of it is that you can prepare the fruits ahead of time.

The tin pack is also an ideal Christmas present for those who want to pair their Noche Buena favorites with an easy-to-make drink. The tin itself can be used as an ice bucket while the lid can be used as a garnish tray. Each tin pack costs P1,438 and is available at S&R and Lazada

Happy mixing!
