The Task Force Against Corruption (TFAC) has received over 90 complaints and reports of corrupt activities in government, the Department of Justice (DoJ) said Wednesday.

“The DoJ Action Center received 35 and the (TFAC) Secretariat, through the Office of the Secretary, received 63,” DoJ Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar revealed.
“However, some of the complaints received pertain to the same subject so this could be further reduced,” the DoJ spokesperson noted.
Meanwhile, Villar said members of the DoJ-led task force are set to meet Thursday.
“The task force will be the one to identify the reports to be investigated first,” the DoJ spokesperson said.
Villar said members of the TFAC Operations Center met Wednesday.
“Today, we discussed the functions of the Operations Center of the Task Force Against Corruption and the units under it, such as the Secretariat and records custodian, operations center information system, the operations center evaluation committee, special investigation teams, and the system of filing and receiving,” she disclosed.
At the moment, Villar said the Operations Center is not yet fully operational but assured its Secretariat will continue to receive complaints and reports concerning corruption.
“Once the department order detailing the duties and functions is issued, it will be fully operational,” Villar said.
“We can just say expected to be issued in the coming week,” she added.
