These chocolate bars feature Filipinas wearing ternos on their label

So, is it going to be Aida, Lorna, or Fe?

Continuing the celebration of all things Filipino culture, local chocolate brand Auro Chocolate comes up with a chocolate line that features illustrations of Filipinas donning the country's National Dress on its label.

Together with fashion designer Lesley Mobo and Chef Victor Magsaysay, the internationally-acclaimed brand presents "Auro Chocolate: A Romance Set in Paradise," a chocolate line full of passion and pleasure.

"Each collectible chocolate box is inspired by the delicate flavors of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao embodied by Mobo's beautiful Filipina women in 'Tropical Ternos,' draped in his iconic patterns and designs," the brand posted on its social media account. "The flavors were inspired by Chef Magsaysay, which Auro meticulously crafted from scratch, carefully infusing the finest essences with our award-winning chocolates to take you on a unique Filipino journey.'

A nod to the Marco Sison classic hit, the chocolate bars are named after the Filipina trio mentioned in the song's lyrics. Si Aida bar represents Luzon, mirroring the beauty of a Filipina through the flower ylang-ylang, which is incorporated in the chocolate.

With a mixture of white chocolates, pandan, peanuts, and green mango, Visayas' Si Lorna bar is like a mestiza with skin so fair.

While Si Fe bar of Mindanao is as bold as a maharlikang (royal blood) morena, made sweet with pineapple and pinipig, exuding a scent of vetiver.

The limited-edition collection is now available for pre-order, and comes in a pandan box woven by Laguna's artisans. To help Filipino farmers become Agri-entrepreneurs, 15 percent of the proceeds will go to Auro's Agricultural programs. Only 1,000 sets are made, so better place your order as once the line is sold out, Auro Chocolate will no longer produce another batch.
