'Tala' hitmaker Sarah Geronimo added to Rico Blanco constellation

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo was revealed as the latest top artist featured on the ongoing "Rico Blanco Songbook" project.

Geronimo, who recently posted a new landmark with her hit "Tala" reaching over 160 million YouTube views, was speculated to be part of the tribute project until a social media post from Viva Records late Wednesday confirmed the same.

She will release her version of “Your Universe,” a Blanco original that has since become a signature song of the Pinoy Rock icon.

Bulletin Entertainment’s early preview of Geronimo’s version of “Your Universe” finds the star adding her own electro pop flavor to the tune while still managing to give a nod to what made this alt-pop song memorable in the first place.

This is Geronimo’s first official track release from her longtime label after getting married to actor and TV personality and occasional recording artist Matteo Guidicelli.

Fans of the singer have been longing for a new release from her for quite some time now and “Your Universe” will fill that void.
