SC orders Malolos court closed for 2 weeks

Another regional trial court (RTC) in Malolos City has been ordered closed for two weeks.

The Supreme Court Public Information Office (SCPIO) said in its latest Twitter post on Friday, Oct. 2, that Malolos City RTC Branch 84 is “physically closed from September 23 to October 7, 2020.”

“They may be reached through their official hotlines and Judiciary email address,” the SCPIO advised the public.

The SCPIO earlier announced the temporary closure of Malolos City RTC Branch 76.

Malolos City Executive Judge Olivia Escubio-Samar ordered RTC Branch 76 from Sept. 14 to 18 after its staff tested positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

During the period, RTC employees were told to work from home and only maintain a skeleton workforce.
