Pneumonia-stricken Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is doing well but is still taking his medicine.
The health update on the senator was bared by his wife, Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado, in social media.
“Salamat po sa lahat ng inyong dasal. Bumubuti ang lagay ang aking asawa (Thank you for all your prayers. His condition is improving). He still has pneumonia. He occasionally coughs when he talks and still needs to rest.
“Please continue to pray for him. He still has to continue taking his meds (medicines) and antibiotics. Thanks to all of his doctors and nurses. Tuloy pa rin ang Laban natin (Our fight continues). We love you Papa,” Mayor Lani said.
The senator is currently in isolation in an undisclosed hospital in Metro Manila after he developed pneumonia on Tuesday
Early this month, Revilla disclosed that he had contracted COVID-19. He is the fourth senator to contract the coronavirus, after Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, and Senator Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara.
