CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan -- Due to continuous heavy rains brought by Habagat enhanced by the tropical depression, acting Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando announced Tuesday night the suspension of classes at all levels, both public and private in the province of Bulacan today.

Fernando said that the provincial government of Bulacan and rescue teams remain, ready to attend to the province that remained flooded as of Wednesday morning.
He said heavy rains and high tide flooded areas of Balagtas, Paombong, Hagonoy, Marilao and Meycauayan City.
The floods caused heavy traffic in those areas, where commuters were forced to walk through the floods, while some vehicles decided not to pass through the flooded roads forcing passengers to get off.
The floods were caused by high tide and southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Storm Henry, which left the Philippine Area of Responsibility last Tuesday
In Malolos flooded areas were the villages of Panginay, Borol 1st, Wawa, San Juan and Poblacion.
In Hagonoy, flooded villages were San Pablo, Sta Elena, Sagrada, San Nicolas, San Sebastian, Sto Nino and San Pedro. In Paombong, Barangays Sto Nino and San Isidro 1 and 2 were flooded also
Flooded villages in Marilao were Abangan Norte, Ibayo, Tabing-Ilog, Saog, Sta Rosa and Poblacion. In Meycauayan, Barangays Malhaca, Bagong Silang, Calvario, Saluysoy, Poblacion, Bayugo, Banga and Bancal were under water.
"Alam namin na mabigat ang solusyon at remedyo pag high tide ang dahilan sa pagbaha, pero ang paglilinis siguro sa mga daanan ng tubig kanal at paghukay sa ilog ay malaki ang magagawa. Apektado na po kasi ang maraming negosyante, studyante at investors. Sana po magawan ito agad ng aksiyon ng bawa't alkalde ng mga binahang lugar," a group of residents said.
