"I you have it, flaunt it” is one of the principles in life of former “Pinoy Fear Factor” contestant Savannah Lamsen.

Standing at 5’4,” with a 36-24-38 figure, Savannah was a petite bombshell in the said reality TV show who wowed audiences not only with her courage in the show’s challenges but most especially her “sexiness.”

And unlike the extreme challenges she faced in “Pinoy Fear Factor” wherein she would think twice before doing them, she never had qualms baring skin or posing sexy.

“Ever since I’ve always wanted to pose sexy for a magazine or for a print ad,” she said in Filipino. “I believe that I don’t have to hide my sexy body. Also I can express my character more through posing sexy!”

Before “Pinoy Fear Factor” Savannah was already a model at 17 years old. She would model different clothing brands for certain store inside malls. Then she joined Miss Bikini of the Universe in 2006. She was also the shortest among her international competitors who stood around 5’10” according to her. Yet she placed among the Top 10 finalists.

So why did she start modeling and working at 17?

“My parents used to run a good business in Pampanga. We used to have a farm and we had a meat dealer business. But when they separated, our business went down too. They actually didn’t want me to join showbiz but because of what happened. I really convinced them that I try and join showbiz. Then I was like a bread winner,” she explained.

In her bid to enter showbiz, she was christened Savannah Lamsen which according to her was a screen name reserved by her handler for an aspiring actress who is now popularly known as Diana Zubiri. She said that the relationship of her present handler and that of Diana didn’t work out well thus leaving the name Savannah for her taking.

“I’m just glad that my parents were very supportive from the beginning of my career. I know that sometimes they find my photos in some men’s magazines lewd, but they’re still there to support me,” she related.

Savannah first appeared in FHM in 2006 where Eula Valdez was the magazine’s cover. Then last 2009 she was featured inside FHM when Cristine Reyes was the cover. She was also proud of being in the cover of the FHM 100 Sexiest in 2009 where she ranked 96.

Savannah also revealed that the reason she joined “Pinoy Fear Factor” was for her to get leverage to enter showbiz. She placed 5th among the 12 contenders. After the show ended, Savannah landed roles on television and in a movie. She was in “I Love Betty La Fea” and “Lovers in Paris” and the movie “And I Love You So.” And her claim to fame was being in kissing scenes with John Lloyd Cruz and Sam Milby!

Blushing she described, “My first kissing scene after getting out of ‘Pinoy Fear Factor’ was with John Lloyd. It was a long kissing scene since we also had a bed scene. I was very nervous because it was my first time to do a kissing scene. But I was more nervous kissing Sam because my friends have a crush on him so I felt that I should make good in our kissing scene!”

She thought that she could cap her “kissing scene with popular leading men” with her role in “Lovers in Paris” but she was wrong. She only played the secretary of Piolo Pascual which didn’t require “kissing!”

Aside from Piolo Pascual, if there’s another leading man she would like to have a kissing scene with, it would be Jake Cuenca whom she has a head over heels crush on!

Does she feel bad though people might notice her “sexiness” rather than her acting in future projects?

“I don’t actually have a problem  with that since most of the roles given to me have some sexiness in them. So being sexy right now is a plus factor for me to land such roles. If they need a sexy actress or someone flirty they could easily give those to me because they fit my character,” she laughed.

And what has she discovered about showbiz that she never knew before?

“After ‘Pinoy Fear Factor’ I was surprised that people were following me wherever I go to malls and shops. And I have to be very approachable with everyone because I realized I have an image to protect. I suddenly realized during those moments that everyone was looking at all my actions. You really lose your private life when you enter showbiz,” she realized.

As seen in “Pinoy Fear Factor,” Savannah Lamsen is a go-getter. Rather than squirm in front of challenges, she faces fear and does her best to succeed. In showbiz, she is aware of the competition and is ready to give more than 100% in any role given to her. She likes playing “kontrabida,” and the size of the role doesn’t even matter to her as long as it’s a chance for her to hone her acting craft!

The other principle in life she follows is – don’t do bad things to other people and you’ll have a better life.
That said, Savannah Lamsen is one sexy actress ready to shine with her acting because she is an actress ON THE RISE!
