The Social Security System (SSS) on Friday donated an ambulance to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).

PRC Chairman Richard Gordon personally received the donation from SSS President and CEO Aurora Ignacio.
The ambulance that SSS gave is fully equipped with vital life-saving equipment.
“Aside from basic ambulance equipment, it has AED and ventilator that work to give patients a better chance of survival,” PRC said.
Gordon expressed gratitude to the officials of SSS for their generous donation, saying the new ambulance will surely save more lives.
Because of the donation of SSS, PRC now has a total of 151 ambulances.
Also present during the turnover were PRC Secretary General Elizabeth Zavalla, PRC, International Federation of Red Cross Regional Director Xavier Castellanos, and other SSS officials.
