GMA-7’s ‘Power of 10,’ the grandest game show on TV!

This May, GMA Network launches the most powerful and grandest game show in the world with “Power of 10,” the newest game show already breaking records as it gives away the biggest cash prize ever in the history of Philippine television.

Hosted by the wacky and witty Janno Gibbs, “Power of 10” measures the power of Pinoys in predicting the pulse of the masses and gives players a chance to win P10 million cash prize.

Set to premiere on May 10, “Power of 10” consists of two rounds with questions based on showbiz, current events, pop culture and even general information. Every Sunday night, two Power Players will battle it out in the first round to answer the five questions based on the result of the survey conducted by GMA-7. The player who gets the closest percentage or actual answer for three times gets a chance to play in the P10 million-jackpot round.

In the jackpot round, the contestant must answer the five questions to win P10 million. Every answer is worth an amount 10 times higher than the previous prize. For the first question, the value is P1000 while in the second question, the prize increases to P10, 000.The third question has a corresponding prize of P100, 000 while the fourth question has a cash prize of P1 million.  For the fifth question, the player must give the exact answer or percentage to bring home jackpot prize of  P10,000,000.

The “Power of 10,” created by 2waytraffic of Sony Entertainment Company, became a popular game show in the US and is now a hit in at least 25 countries worldwide including Venezuela, Armenia, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Argentina, India, Israel, Mexico, Middle East, Norway, Colombia, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Ukraine, Brazil, Vietnam and now the Philippines.
